Fines

Students will be expected to replace books at the publisher's replacement cost if books are lost, stolen, or damaged. If a student returns a book that was not originally checked out to him/her, return credit cannot be given. Students are responsible for the actual barcoded book checked out in their name. A processing fee up to $10 is deducted from all refunds.

Carrying drinks in one's backpack is the number one cause for damaged books.

*Mold (even a trace amount) is fined as a total replacement (publisher's price)
