The Giving Tree

TPMS PTSA is proud to support the collaboration between the Palomar Council of PTAs and the PUSD Foundation in its annual Giving Tree program (formerly 'Adopt-a-Family'), connecting families in need across Poway Unified and bringing holiday joy to those who need it most. The Giving Tree is now in its third decade of supporting PUSD families. Because of your kindness and generosity, over 400 families received much-needed clothes, shoes, school supplies, household items, books, and toys in 2024.

This year, we are hoping to brighten the holidays of five PUSD families and are asking for your help in donating an item or two, if you are able. The PTSA elves have done the hard work and created an Amazon Wish List for the families' wants and needs. All items will be delivered directly to the organizers, so no in-person shopping or school drop-off is needed.

A few things to remember:

All items must be brand new and ordered in the size listed.
Please include a gift receipt for every purchase. Without it, any items that may need to be returned by the receiving families will result in a refund/credit to the donor and not the family.
To protect the confidentiality of both donors and recipients, please do not include names on your gift receipts. Last names and personal messages will be redacted by the organizers.
Please order items by November 12, 2025.

In addition to the wish list, we are also seeking donations towards grocery and gas gift cards for the families we're sponsoring. Direct donations can be made via Venmo (@TPMSPTSA) or online at Cheddar Up. Any donation amounts exceeding our gift card goal will be put towards purchasing items from the wish list.

All donations are tax deductible. For personal or company donations via cash or check (payable to TPMS PTSA) or for donation receipts, please contact Steph Cole at [email protected]

The Giving Tree is one of the most impactful and rewarding ways to give back to our community, and we couldn't do it without you. Thank you in advance for anything you can contribute and for continuing this PUSD tradition.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Your Twin Peaks PTSA
